SUMMER HOUSE SPINOSA
We named the Summerhouse Spinosa after prunus spinosa, the blackthorn that proliferates around it. The outside of the house consists of black-charred boards, an old Japanese method of preserving wood (shou-sugu-ban).
It is built over a corner and opens onto a large sun terrace to the south. To the north, the house looks onto the Re:hof’s other grounds. Both the living and sleeping quarters can be completely opened up by large glass doors. A house for fans of fresh air and sun worshippers.
